BK bio develops the material, processes it cold, standardizes it, and makes the finished product, all in our green-technology BioLabtory on Jeju. Founded in 2000, we've developed over 300 ingredients including 10 branded ingredients and support the work with 84 patent records, 15 papers and 26 research projects.

The Green Innovator
Founded in 2000, BK bio has supplied functional materials to its customers, both through joint development with companies in Korea and abroad and through our own in-house material development.
In 2015, we built a factory in the Jeju Lava-Seawater Industrial Complex, drawing on Jeju's clean resources and its lava seawater. From there we have grown into Korea's only specialized bio laboratory, with advanced manufacturing technology and capacity.
With Korea's only PEF (Pulsed Electric Field) system, together with our own concentration equipment and technology, we run pilot lines for material extraction, separation and purification alongside production-scale equipment. The result is an integrated solution that spans material development, raw-material processing and finished-product production.
