Jeju offers the naturalness and functionality

Jeju is a clean volcanic island of clear air, water and soil. Its citrus, broccoli, Dendropanax, Ecklonia and carrots carry exceptional active content, which BK bio turns into ingredients at our green-technology BioLabtory.

Jeju, in support of the process

From raw-material processing to product,
at the BioLabtory

Sourcing, development, low-heat processing and ingredient creation all happen inside BK bio's BioLabtory. The closer a Jeju field is to our line, the fresher the raw material stays and the less of its active content is lost.

A long, four-season growing window means a steady supply of fresh Jeju material into the line for most of the year. Bars mark each material's harvest window across the calendar year.

Origin meets process

Fresh is only the start.
Cold keeps it.

A clean Jeju raw material loses its edge the moment it is processed hot. That is why the island and the line belong together: our cold-processed PEF extraction opens plant cells with electricity, not temperature, so the color, aroma and functional compounds Jeju gave the material are still there when it reaches your spec. The origin sets the quality; the process is what protects it.
